The Subway Fresh Fit Hike Bike & Paddle
When: September 4th, 2017
Time: 8am to 2pm
Where: Waterfront Park (Great Lawn).
Every year, thousands of participants head over to Waterfront Park to enjoy a morning full of fitness-oriented fun and recreation. Check out fitness demonstrations in the morning, including yoga, tai chi, zumba, pickleball and more. Vendor booths and exclusive giveaways are also located throughout the area. After the morning classes, you get to pick your next adventure – a 5k hike, 9.5-mile bike ride or a paddle on the Ohio River. There is no race, it’s just about having fun. Participants of all skill levels are encouraged to attend. This free fitness festival is perfect for the whole family.

Where: Belvedere at 5th and Main Streets
Experience the diverse cultures that make Louisville such a unique destination with four incredible days of world food, music, dance, culture and education throughout Labor Day weekend. Check out the colorful Parade of Cultures on Saturday, watch talented dancers and musicians perform live on several stages, and try international cuisines from more than 30 food vendors. There is also a Global Village, where you can see the kaleidoscope nations that have all influenced the city – with more than 20 nations represented.
Kentucky Bluegrass & Bourbon Experience
When: September 2-3rd, 2017
Time: 5pm – 11pm (Both Days)
Where: Louisville Water Tower Park
Enjoy two fun-filled days of live bluegrass music, authentic Kentucky BBQ and more during this festive annual event. Featuring musicians across the country, a craft vendor tent, plus the chance to enjoy some of the area’s most popular bourbons, this is one festival you won’t want to miss. Along with great local BBQ and hand-crafted bourbon cocktails, you’ll also find fair favorites like ice cold lemonade and funnel cakes.
